Fudge

Fourth graders here are studying the regions of the United States.  One thing they are doing is sending out a bear to travel the country collecting interesting information about where they visit.

Above you will see Fudgie.  He will be greatly missed while on his travels, but he is decked out is his Red Sox gear, so that is a consolation.

You know I was furiously binding off those pants moments before rushing to the PO to get stamps for his box/home before they closed. As a result they aren't as long as I would have liked--but he does have butt-shaping, and a hole for his tail and holes for ears.  Luckily he has no bones and does not complain, so he is easy to squeeze into his outfit.

Bon Voyage Fudge--looking forward to seeing you in the spring.

This is post soak. A wee but over spun :)
I will try to take a bit of twist out and report back.

Been a while . . .

Well, it been a while, but I'm still here.  The knitting has been slow, and mostly gifts this year.  Hats, scarves, two shawlettes for teachers.  I'm currently working on a little baby sweater that I really must finish.

This is just a drive by post, but if you'd like to see what I was doing at the Fiber Revival this weekend, take a look at Moth Heaven's post about it.  She sneaked in a photo of me.
