Today in the mail I received a package from my sister. She handmade a
batch of buttons and sent them to me. They are beautiful!

Ten years of knitting

This fall marks ten years that I took a class at Northampton Wools and learned to knit.

What am I working on now? I'm nearly done with this sweater vest for my niece. Wild vanilla.

There are even more now. Must start on Christmas presents, but I'm in a groove making hexis from the Sunfloweryarns mini skeins. Each mini is making two (or almost two) hexis.

Ok so I didn't do much crawling. But look at the little beauty I found a Butterfly Yarns. In Indian Corn. Just right for the season.

Just in time for those chilly games. Fingering and sport weight double
layer. With a little duplicate stitch for good measure.

Just arrived. A lovely batch of Sunfloweryarns minis from a minimall
swap. My choice was Red Sox Red on top.

The true color is slightly less electric blue then the pictures imply.

Five years of Ravelry

Today is the 5th anniversary of my Ravelry account. Woohoo. I love Ravelry.

Hexed

Yes, I've worked on other projects in the past 3 months, but this is my current obsession. I bought the pattern last summer, but didn't get started until last week. I had plenty of yarn lying around, what I didn't have was the rest of my set up--a perfect little bag to carry things around in, and tiny size 4 dpn. Once I acquired those things the hexis began.

And, I finally found what I wanted to spend my Loopy Ewe gift certificate on--yes, can you believe I've had it for 2.5 years.
